They're the perfect way to try a small amount of a product we hope to love! We want to test the product first to make sure we're making the right choice.
Trying new things is a gamble. Samples answer questions such as, "What if I don't like it? or "I don't want to spend my money on a full-sized product and then find out I don't like it." Samples take the risk out of the equation.
They're also a great way to try a new product in your favorite skincare line. You may use other products in your the line, but will you like the new kid on the block? Sample it first and find out.
Women save samples for travel, meaning samples can be months, even years old. Not a good idea! You shouldn't keep samples around for long periods of time. They can change texture and lose efficacy. Oils go bad after time. We tell our customers to use our samples within 3 months of receiving for best results.
Don't expect too much of a skincare sample. Products take at least a month to make a difference in how your skin looks, and 3-6 months for full benefits. Remember you didn't get the skin conditions (fine lines, age spots, dry skin) overnight.
Samples aren't indicative of the efficacy of the full-sized product. They're purely to test the scent, texture and be sure you don't have an allergic reaction to the product.
1. You should expect to love the texture of the cream, serum, cleanser, etc. If it's too heavy for your skin, another sample should be ordered.
2. You should enjoy the scent of the sample. While unscented is always best for the facial care products, even unscented products have a scent from the ingredients contained in the product.
3. You should always test a the sample under your chin to see if you have any type of reaction to the product. We suggest you apply to clean skin (under chin or on inside of wrist) in the evening. If you wake up with NO reaction, it should be safe to use the sample on your entire face.
