How to Look 10 Years Younger with Makeup: Expert Tips

As we age, it's natural that our skin loses its elasticity and firmness. This leads to  wrinkles, fine lines, and age spots.  Heather demonstrates a number of things you can do with makeup to help reduce the appearance of aging and look 10 years younger.

Here are some of her expert tips:

  1. Start with a good primer. A primer will help to create a smooth, even surface for your makeup to adhere to. She shares her favorite.
  2. Use the right concealerunder your eyes on and any other areas that age spots may appear. Use a concealer that is one shade lighter than your natural skin tone.
  3. Foundation -Use a light touch and know the secret placement tips Heather shares. Your choice in foundation color makes a difference too. If a foundation is too dark, you'll look older, while a foundation that's too light can make you look washed out.
  4. Perfect Contouring - The right product placement is key. Highlight your best features.

The only part of this video I disagree with is her choice of exfoliators before makeup application.  No, not because ours is better (well ok, it is:-). The reason you never want to use an exfoliator with pits or nuts is because they are just too abrasive and harsh for most of us--especially if we're over 50 with more delicate skin.

Our Renew Triple Enzyme Face Polish is a gentle yet effective exfoliating peel that uses glycolic acid, malic acid, and pomegranate enzymes to leave your skin feeling smooth and refreshed.

  • Glycolic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that helps to exfoliate the skin by breaking down the bonds that hold dead skin cells together.
  • Malic acid is another AHA that is also known for its exfoliating properties.
  • Pomegranate enzymes are a natural exfoliator that helps to break down dead skin cells and promote cell turnover.

The combination of these ingredients makes our Renew Triple Enzyme Face Polish an effective way to remove dead skin cells and reveal smoother, more radiant skin.

Heather looks fabulous at the end of her before and after video. Her look is dewy and natural-looking, not over done. She glows! Follow Heathers tips and you can look 10 years younger too.
