Having explored cities like Paris, London, Florence, Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto, and Tangiers solo, I've always felt quite safe and secure. However, after hearing stories about pickpockets (though I've never encountered one myself!), I decided a crossover bag was a smart and practical addition to my travel gear.

My Travel Mistake
My travel mistake? Yep, I overpacked! Not by a ton, but those three jackets were a definite no-go for the season. Even with all my online weather checks, I still got it wrong. Seriously, one jacket would've been plenty.

making a slight but significant swap for this trip. Instead of my usual Tonique Toner, I opted for a travel-size Micellar Water. This turned out to be incredibly handy!
