Simple, Easy, Skincare Routine
You like your home uncluttered, your wardrobe functional and your skincare routine under five minutes. You consider yourself a happy Minimalist.
Better looking and feeling skin can be yours with a simple and basic routine.
The one thing that should never be compromised or skipped though, is night time cleansing. At the end of the day, it's important to cleanse to remove makeup and other products you applied in the morning, but also excess oil, sweat, dead skin cells, pollutants, and other debris that collect on the skin daily.
The three things everyone needs to do everyday.
- Cleanse
- Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen (atleast SPF30) -your first line of defense and protection against skin cancer)
- Night cream with antioxidants
Over 40?
If you're over 40, it's a must to add an anti-aging--or as I prefer to say--Perfect-aging Serum to your routine. Serums deliver active ingredients just where you need them. Let's face it, skin changes after 40 and your skincare routine should evolve too.
The ingredients you should look for in a good serum are Retinol (a must!), plant-based hyaluronic acid, antioxidants such as Vitamin C, A and B, next generation Peptides, Babbasu oil, Resveratrol, Shitake Mushroom (New!).
A good, quick, nighttime routine can be as easy as cleansing thoroughly and applying a nighttime moisturizer appropriate for your skin type.
A great night cream might just be the key to taking your skincare to the next level.
Oily or dry
If your skin is dry, look for plant-based oil-rich creams. If your skin is oily, look for a night cream with AHA's (glycolic acid), but don't skip it a night cream just because your skin is oily.
A clean, toxin-free skincare line and a simple routine can keep your skin looking its best in 5 minutes or less a day.
