It's no simple feat to determine which products you need and when the best time to use your skincare products is.

Are they necessary? What order should you use them in? Do you need a separate serum and an eye gel? The question I get most often is, "Should this product be used in the morning or night?"

I understand it can be confusing...I'm going to attempt to simplify it here.

The majority of facial skin care should be done in the evening. I tell my customers--don't wait until just before you go to bed either. Wash your face and begin applying night time products right after dinner. If you wait until just before bed, most of us are too tired to pamper ourselves properly. Plus, why not give our most potent products more time on our skin?

Your can simplify your morning routine. Because your skin is clean from your nighttime routine (the night before), simply rinse your skin in the shower with a gentle damp cloth or with a micellar water soaked pad. If you notice enlarged pores you'll definitely want to choose the micellar water. It's great for getting skin extra clean. 

Next, use a serum, and a day creme with SPF. Some of us will add an eye treatment to our morning routine. I use our Clean Beauty Award-winning and EWG Verified Peptide Eye Gel religiously every morning. Once again:
  1. Rinse face with water, or wipe with a damp cloth
  2. Toner or micellar water

Skincare is absolutely most effective at night. This is because the skin absorbs and replenishes while you sleep. To get the best benefits, this is when you should use your heavy-lifting skincare.

A good skincare routine at night should include, Cleansing, exfoliant or masque (only 2-3 times a week) toner, night serum (preferably with Retinol or Resveratrol), collagen booster or face oil, nighttime moisturizer.
